After 18 Years of Marriage…

“For the first time after 18 years of marriage, she prepared the worst dinner for her husband.

The vegetables were over cooked, meat was burned and salad was too salty.

At the dinner table, her husband kept silent while he was eating.

After that, when she was in kitchen washing dishes he came to her, smile at her and kissed her on her forehead “why is this kiss for?” she asked him not believing what he did.

“Tonight your cooking reminded me of your cooking in the first days of our marriage! it reminded me of your cooking as a new bride, so I wanted to treat you as if you are a new bride” ?

This is the good qualities of a husband who turn the mistakes of his wife to positive sides in their life together, because the best man is the one who is best to his wife and should make her feel that she is so special to him 🙂

Dear Readers, please share some positive anecdotes for everyone’s benefit.

please people, I see your comments and views, respect that. but these stories are only examples of how we can become good human beings, after all who does not want love in any form. its not about any religion we only become the caste or religion because of the person who has brought you up. otherwise what religion will you follow. perfect example is our Prophet. Islam was not there till our Holy Prophet did not show the Right path. So lets all respect each other because Islam also says respect all religions. Islam does not preach any form of violence. It is because of a few people with vested interests that make our Most beloved religion look like illiteracy. Education is the most basic right to judge what is right and wrong. your comments please.

This is a nice and inspiring story. we must all aspire to be a good husband – regardless of religion!!!!

Let us be good Human Beings first, and then only become good Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, Hindus, etc.

    And love is universal.

I admire the husband for being well-composed for the badly-cooked meal. He gave his wife the benefit of the doubt that the bad cooking was beyond her control.
If we are to co-exist with others, we have to learn to accept others with their mistakes, and shortcomings. Ideal human beings are rarely found in society.
Islam does teach us to be pragmatic and accommodating when confronted with such situations by first of all considering “seventy good positive explanations for ‘odd’ behavior of others” before concluding that they are indeed are naughty.
Such a teaching makes a lot of sense and would not be surprised if other religions have similar teachings.

Some women can say that u are making fun of me becoz u know its not properly cooked but mocking at me. It all depends on how positively u take things.

    Dear All,

Everybody should love their wife. She always believe you and her love will not affect at anytime.

unless your behavior like good or bead, she will adjust

  25. Ravish May 15, 2013 at 1:43 PM #

Dear Mohammed Mansoor.. a correction… why to bring religion in comments?
Spread your horizon of knowledge about other religions too.. don’t be like a Frog… this is a universal philosophy, its a simple Human Philosophy.

    • Sara May 15, 2013 at 3:47 PM #

There’s nothing wrong in expressing one’s beliefs. It is true that Islam does promote such behaviors, so does other religions. He didn’t say that Islam is the only religion that makes people treat each other in proper ways.

But if someone knows about one religion in specific and would like to share his/her insight, there’s absolutely no harm in this as long as it doesn’t by any chance offend any other religion, that probably have similar teachings.

      • Salah May 15, 2013 at 11:14 PM #

Thank you Sara. You posted very good comment regarding religion and human behavior. it is never harmful to exchange ideas and beliefs because this enriches the quality of human life.

    • Salah May 15, 2013 at 11:10 PM #

      Dear Ravish
You seem to treat religion as not universal and overwhelming. Spreading horizons does not mean excluding religion from our lives and behavior. Instead, religion is the widest horizon ever. Don’t be too sensitive to religion issues. Thank you.

    • Razi Malik May 17, 2013 at 8:46 PM #

I do not understand what has upset Ravish. This is childish.

    • arshad July 6, 2013 at 3:08 PM #

      Hi Ravish,
U r right it is human philosphy, I would say its truely truely nature and Islam is Natural religion !!!
Islam teaches us to behave like this…….
