    DO NOT REMOVE
    No one is making fun of camels. If anything the joke is about the modern metro.
    Most of the jokes are about Arabs and Arab things because that is what most readers relate to and understand.

    Ye, it was a joke without the intent to hurt any one
    But consider your father whom you loved very much used to wear a peculiar cap or a turban….and some makes a joke of that particular cap…you would not like it…..

    In the same manner for Muslims, camel is the animal, their prophet used as a means of transportation as many others at that time…

    When someone makes a joke in which a camel is involved, Muslim thinks that indirectly their prophet is being ridiculed although the jock maker might not have that in mind at all.

    Well, on one hand Muslim should realize that it is just a joke and non Muslims may not realize what is being said above, but on the other hand non Muslim should also realize what Muslims feel about the animal….finally it is up to the Non Muslim to avoid such jokes keeping the feeling in mind of their Muslim friends or forget about others feeling and enjoy such jokes.

    A note the Muslims….In return, in fact Islamic teaching tell us also that we should also not do any act which may hurt others feeling, no matter what

    yes camels are better as they are a more relaxing RIDE because you have ONE seat to yourself and you don’t have to sit in a PACKED smelly room like in a metro!.I wish I had a camel pet in the Uk.

    Hey why don’t you make fun of the low crime rate too!! It would be funny how they manage to keep it so low compared to our countries…

    camel is a symbol and slogan of arabic people and we a proud of him with date palm.pet animal i europa is dog . but we do not make joke for him. we love camel because the best animal for us and have many things can not find in another animals .i do not see one reason to make joke for him and for arabic people .we arabic people made the greatest civlization in the world and we give the world the best religion and best system in life.
