Assalam-o-alaikum, that is what you think but Allah has commanded His creatures to never lose hope. Allah has taken the responsibility to either bring back the faith or take it away from the person. If the person himself loses faith, others should pray for him and stay hopeful, until one day , if Only Allah Wills, he regains his faith. Always remember, the world is running on hope. (Ummeed pe dunya qaaim hai.)
