I long for the moment when we had long conversations about long lost friends.

I mean every word I said about that mean man who does not mean anything to any of us.

You sound so forlorn over the phone when you called me from Milford Sound.

The ground coffee spilt to the ground.

The foul smell came from the fowl.

The pocket seam seems to have have been unpicked while the seamstress seems to be picked by the police for pickpocket.

It’s not only english that has this crazy meanings. It applies to most languages. They may have the same spelling but pronounced differently. Some may even be pronounced same but have different meaning.

It should be, “A dove dove into the bushes.”

If you say, “We saw…” then it would have to continue as, “a dove dive into the bushes.”
