Waleed buys stuff worth 300 pounds from a toy shop.(The toys were sold with zero profits)
Waleed gives him 1000 pound note. The shopkeeper gets the change from the next shop and keeps 300 for himself and returns 700 pounds to Waleed.
Later the shopkeeper of the next shop comes with the 1000 pound note saying that it was a fake note and takes his money back.
How much LOSS did the shopkeeper face?

1300
1700 cash & 300 cost of toy
– Shop owner – returned 1000 to next shopkeeper
– Shop owner – handed 700 to customer
– Shop owner – lost the value of the goods (he sell to 300, but the original cost not the same)
Therefore, 1700 + the Cost of the product sold
1,300 pound .
The fake note, 1,000 ponds
1000 pounds
1000 for next shop
700 the cash back to buyer
And 300 the toy cost.
Total : 2000 pounds
Hi Amina,
Your calculation is absolutely wrong bcoz very simply think that never a 1000 can make loss of 2000 ever
1000 pound which he given back to the next shop is already he got change from shop with the fake currency so there is no any loss becoz of this transaction.
1000 for next shop
7000 the cash back to buyer
And 300 the toy cost.
Total : 2000 pounds
1300 pounds
2000
2000 pounds
2000pounds
Total loss of 2000 pounds is the correct answer. Loss of 1000 pound to the shopkeeper from the next shop for fake note + loss of 300 pounds worth of goods sold + Loss of 700 pounds returned back to the customer.
1300 pound
There is no 1000 Pound note in Egypt…
700 (change to customer) + 300 ( price of gift) = 1000 pound
It is clear :
2000 = the Toy (300) + the change (700) + the fake money (1000)
First of all ther s no 1000 pound note in Egypt
After the weird assumption that it exists we can say that the shopkeeper lost 700
1. He gave his neighbor the real 1000
2.but he received in return 700 good notes to give them to the customer as change and ALSO 300 as the rest of the 1000 note
3. He gave the customer goods worth 300 in return of the forged note but he still have them in cash as part of the change
4. So his loss is the amount of change he gave to the customer which is 700
The loss was cash 700 Pounds + the real cost of the toy ( which is 300 Pounds) = 1000
WHY you usually makes fun of Egypt and makes it like worthless. This could happen in any country. If the writer and publisher have good manners, they do not to mention any country’s name. If you keep humiliate Egypt or any country in this manner, please take my name off your mailing list. I do not to get aggravated by your e-mail
Thanks
Why?
Because we love Egypt!!!
Not only because someone loves it, but because of our Lord’s command.

The shopkeeper lost 2000 pounds
Total Loss £ 1400+cost of toy £300= £1700
See, the loss is 1000 pounds!
Why?
because the buyer gives a fake note, so he gives 0 pound.
Now, another shopkeeper takes original 1000 pounds finally and returns 700+300,
so total balance is zero. But Waleed gets 700 pounds + 300 pounds worth stuff for a fake note i.e., 0 pound.
Loss is 1000 pounds!
Everybody got it!
600 pounds
Does 1000 pound currency note exist? if so where?
1300 hundred pounds
2000 pounds: 1000 returned to shopkeeper; 700 returned to buyer; plus 300 value of toy
2000 pounds, exactly!
2000 = (700 returned to the buyer, walid, 300 value of toys sold, and 1000 fake note he had to give back to his next shop neighbour)
AOA WRWB, all these name above sound Muslims, and Muslims can’t be this …………
Well shopkeeper already collected $300 for the toys, and the $700 he paid to the customer was in return of the change from next door. Therefore his lose is only 1000 Pounds that he has to pay back to next door shopkeeper. FeeAmanAllah
2000
1300 pounds(1000 for the fake note to the next shopkeeper & 300 for the toys)
1300
2000 …. 1000 for his next shop and 700 given change to buyer and 300 the value of the toy>
Simple ,
What he faced loss = The amount of fake money he got (1000)
1300 ( being teh 1000 returned change + the goods 300 )
1000 pounds only

1000 pounds
1700 + cost of the toys
