A Beautiful Eid Story !

Waleed received a car from his brother as an Eid gift. On Eid day when Waleed came out of his house, a small poor boy was walking around the new car, admiring it. “Does it belong to you, Uncle” he asked. Waleed replied in negative. “This is Eid gift from my brother.” The boy was amazed.

“You mean your brother gave it to you and it cost you nothing? Boy, I wish…” He hesitated. Of course Waleed knew what he was going to wish for. He was going to wish he had a brother like that. But what the lad said jarred Waleed all the way down to his heels. “I wish,” the boy went on, “that I could be a brother like that.” Waleed looked at the boy in astonishment, then impulsively he added, “Would you like to take a ride in my car?” “Oh yes, I’d love that.”

After a short ride, the boy turned and with his eyes aglow, said, “Uncle, would you mind driving in front of my house?” Waleed smiled a little. He thought he knew what the lad wanted. He wanted to show his neighbors that he could ride home in a big car. But Waleed was wrong again. “Will you stop where those two steps are?” the boy asked. He ran up the steps. Then in a little while Waleed heard him coming back, but he was not coming fast. He was carrying his little crippled brother. He sat him down on the bottom step, then sort of squeezed up against him and pointed to the car.

“There it is, little brother, just like I told you before. His brother gave it to him for Eid and it didn’t cost him a penny. And some day I’m gonna give you one just like it then you can see for yourself all the pretty things in the shop windows that I’ve been trying to tell you about.”

Waleed got out and lifted the boy to the front seat of his car. The shining-eyed older brother climbed in beside him and the three of them began a memorable ride. That Eid, Waleed learned what the Prophet(pbuh) meant when he had said: “love for your brother what you love for yourself”.

So What are you going to do this Eid to make someone happy??

    Salam,
Rightly Ayesha has put words of advise and encouragement for anyone who cares for the suffering of our brothers and sisters in Palestine.

Let everyone contribute even if it is by mere hate in ones mind which is said to be the Last degree of Imaan ! To abstain from what is Israel is requesting for just small of what we term enjoyment compared to the agony that our brothers & sisters are going through on daily basis. Let us think of what we can do individually first and then think of the system that is aiding such injustices.

It’s an instructive story. There are many
others too. There will be several others on Eid and other festive occasions. It’ll read by Musims and non-Muslims, praised (as we are praising now) and conveniently forgotten.
I’ve had it up to my eyes with this crap about boycotting Israel and it’s products. I work in Saudi. If all these products are really the produce of Israel, why doesn’t the Saudi government ban them?
Well they’ll never ban them. You know why? Because like most of the other stinking nations of the world, this country too is turning into the handmaiden of that personification of Evil: Israel.
It’s such a goddamn tragedy! Such hypocrisy! And please don’t give me any of that polemic of the innocence of human frigging being.
Most of the human specimen that one comes across nowadays is alive only because it’s illegal to kill them.
The more people that are killed the better this world is going to be for our progeny.
The time of cleansing is coming anon.
    Just awaiting the fourth horseman…

I agree with Ayesha, Muslims will never be united. every Muslim country is a tool for yahood wo Nasara. body Our prophet clearly told that yahood wo Nasara can never be your friend. So don’t trust them.

Stand for what is right! Even if its means standing ALONE…

You start whats in your capacity….Pray and boycott things of Israel and In shaa ALLAH everyone will join you sooner or later! Educate yourself on what products are to be boycotted……May be this becomes a means of Salvation for us….As it is said in the Holy Quran…( whosoever kills a human being, except (as punishment) for murder or for spreading lifethreatening chaos on earth, it is as if killing the entire human race; and whosoever saves a life, saves the entire human race) so save humanity and therefore be part of those who is striving forthe cause of humanity…..boycott Israel Products…..its an earnest plea!!!!

Assalamualaikum my brothers and sister in ISLAM!

I know this story, but still everytime I read it…..it boost my Imaan and urge me to be one among those with whom ALLAH is pleased!

I wish everyone a very happy and prosperous Eid but do remember your brothers and sisiters in Islam. Pray for your Palestian brothers and sisters. Gaza is suffering from lots of massacre in this Ramdhan and we are unable to help them.

The best gift we can give to our brothers and sisters is DUA….the most powerful tool! Without ALLAH’s divine intervention we are helpless. So please I request everyone to recite Surah Nooh (29th para for 1 time which takes hardly 3 minutes), boycott Israel’s products (like Nestle, Maggie, Coco Cola, Pepsi, Fanta, Miranda…the list is long) but still we can survive without those things but we cant aid Israel in killing our brothers and sisters….I know we cant change everything but we can be tge part of the change and remember them…the Palestians….in your everyday prayers! May be our prayers are heard!

    JazakALLAH for reading!
