    ALHAMDULILLAH’ THERE ARE PERSONS LIKE QASIM MUHAMMAD WHO SAYS FACTS AND TRUTH,I TOO BELIEVE THAT WE MUST NOT FORGOT ALLAH’S KNOWLEDGE AND MAN’S KNOWLEDGE THERE IS NO COMPARISION AT ALL.WHO EVER HE MAY BE.
    THIS IS OUR( MUSLIM’S) WEAKNESS THAT WE DO NOT STUDY QURAAN AND THE SAYING OF PROPHIT MUHAMMAD (PBUH) AS WE SUPPOSE TO,
    MAY ALLAH GIVE US HIDAYA.

    Gandhi’s spirit of freedom lives on, even in foreign lands. South Africa and in Mexico where a life- size statue of the Mahatma adorns a highway. A great public figure and a father of a nation-India. May his memory and his doctrine of ahimsa live long.

    Most of the quotes are inspirational but i would like to add a point. This website is run by Muslims and the comments i see are also from Muslim readers mainly. The quote about eye for an eye hits a very logical and important rule of justice in Islam. If we think rationally it will not make the whole world blind but by taking one eye of a cruel person you save a lot of them. And it is not to be taken by people themselves, it is to be enforced by governmental authorities and is essential to prevent further chaos. As a Muslim we should not like such quotes which are clearly against Quran and should not post on our websites as well..

      Sad Indeed. Br. Qasim, Allah stresses the superiority of forgiveness over rvenge (exacting punishment, etc.) time and again, time and again in the Qur’an. Here are some examples:

      ” .. those who control their rage and pardon other people … God loves the good-doers” (3:134)

      “You will never cease to come upon some act of treachery on their part, except for a few of them. Yet pardon them, and overlook (their shortcomings). God loves good-doers. (5:13)

      ” … The Hour is certainly coming, so forgive with fair forbearance. (15:85)

      “A good action and a bad action are not the same. Repel the bad with something better … ” (41:34)

      “The repayment of a bad action is one equivalent to it. But if someone pardons and puts things right, his reward is with God … (42:40)

      There are many more ….

    My personal belief is that if we compare Gandhi, Martin Luther King & Mandela then Gandhi is tallest one. My favorite Gandhi quotes are;

    ? An eye for an eye will make the whole world blind.

    ? Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is the truth.

    ? Where there is love there is life

    ? There is a higher court than courts of justice and that is the court of conscience. It supersedes all other courts.

    ? You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty
