Little Johnny and his mother:
Curious Little Johnny asked his mother: “Mommy, why are some of your hair turning grey?”
The mother tried to use this occasion to teach her kid: “It is because of you, dear. Every bad action of yours will turn one of my hair grey!”
Little Johnny replied innocently: “Now I know why grandmother has only grey hair on her head.”
Little Johnny was eating breakfast one morning and got to thinking about things
‘Mommy, mommy, why has daddy got so few hair on his head?’ he asked his mother.
“He thinks a lot,” replied his mother,
pleased with herself for coming up with a good answer to her husband’s baldness.
Or she was until little Johnny thought for a second and asked,
“So why do you have so much hair, Mommy?”.
Have you ever experienced such situation when you are speechless at you kids’ questions ?
The innocence of childhood is simply beautiful and incomparable…. n so is their little power of reasoning. Let me share one of my experiences with my son, Sam, then 4 year old who’d eat only if there was a chicken dish and found excuses to avoid veggies –
I exclaimed, “I wonder,…. how can a vegetarian mama have a non vegetarian baby!”
Pat came the reply. “I’ll tell you mama, its like how a ‘girl’ mama gets a ‘boy’ baby”….. 🙂
….Now that’s something I’d never given a thought to…………. lol
lol that’s a good one, Anita 🙂
very funny indeed.
we should always tell truth to our kids
agree
Old jokes. 🙁
Kids think in simple way, they say what the feel, their thinks are clear like water.
kids always learning things from parents… so, take care
yes I have long learnt this and never sidetracked my kids. Also that sort of thing ” when U grow up u will know ” etc. The best is to speak the truth and be simple for younger kids and more explicit to elder ones.
Some youngsters come up with some questions sometimes which r nearly impossible to answer. But we always find a way. Good luck to all parents here.
It is better to tell the truth to kids in ways they can understand.
I agree
Hence we should always tell truth to our kids, otherwise your answer will backfire you.
yes, agreed with you
