One day a young lady was driving along with her father.They came upon a storm, and the young lady asked her father,
What should I do?”
He said “keep driving”. Cars began to pull over to the side, the storm was getting worse.
“What should I do.” The young lady asked?
“Keep driving,” her father replied.
On up a few feet, she noticed that eighteen wheelers were also pulling over.
She told her dad, “I must pull over, I can barely see ahead.
It is Terrible, and everyone is pulling over!”
Her father told her, “Don’t give up, just keep driving!”
Now the storm was terrible, but she never stopped driving, and soon she could see a little more clearly.
After a couple of miles she was again on Dry land, and the sun came out.
Her father said, “Now you can pull over and get out.”
She said “But why now?”
He said “When you get out, look back at all the people that gave up and are still in the storm, because you never gave up your storm is now over.
Lesson
This is a testimony for anyone who is going through “hard times”.
Just because everyone else, even the strongest, gives up,you don’t have to.
If you keep going, soon your storm will be over and the sun will shine upon your face again!

good lesson but the story is not good…..it is never advisable to drive in such storm…one would be stupid to do the same….
admin should have used some other plot to teach the same lesson

In life, there are so many obstacles arise, still don’t give up and keep trying till you reach the goal. Preservence is the good element of success in everybody’s life. Everyone should believe in Allah. He is the One who will take care of everything….
Keep going but after well-studied plans, as the father did, and then rely on GOD.

keep going, never give up is ofcourse a Good advise. but will it suits this type of (storm) situation ?. blindly moving without knowing whats ahead may also be dangerous’. some times, it may be neccessary to take shelter.

so beautiful. but the things is like is really hard to know if the storm in a certain time. what I mean is may be if she keeps driving when the storm became worse it may kills them all. don’t you think so? but if you have another way I guess using it is much better.

Stopping does not mean safer than to keep going. Damage could hit you either way, but a calculated risk will be the way to go.
If wether forecast information is available, one can decide on the best decision.
Any way, this is a good moral story even though I have one with my father that worked the opposite:
I was driving my father to his farm on a rainy day in Amman. The last few hundred meters of the road were not paved, I asked my father what he thought and he said, just keep going, well, we got stock in the mud for a few hours till my brothers came to the rescue.
Get your feet wet and test the water first, if you dont know how deep the water is, you could get hurt.

its not good to drive in storm, a lot of lives are lost because people think that they can go far ,,, no thats not good.. emergency departments is warning the people not to drive in storms and floods, this is because the risk of death is high when driving.
but what if he found himself in storm ,what shall he do? give up or challenge

I totally agree with Shakabansh5 ………. the father was too adventurous risking his daughter’s life as well as his own , what if the storm got worser while they were in the middle of it ???
In my country Yemen during the rainy season , we have floods that pass through roads , some are small and some are big floods , but we all know never to cross either of them till completely stopped , cause you can never know or predict what will happen next . All natural forces are the creation of the Almighty Allah , and we should never tamper with any of them !!!
