The Manager of a big Multinational company wondered why one of his senior most employee was absent but had not phoned to take a leave. Needing to have a very critical problem resolved, he dialed the employee’s home phone number and was greeted with a small boy’s whisper. ‘ Hi ? ‘
‘Is your father home?’ he asked.
‘ Yes ,’ whispered the small voice.
May I talk with him?’
The boy whispered, ‘ No .’
Surprised and wanting to talk with an adult, the Manager asked, ‘Is your mother there?’ ‘ Yes ‘
‘May I talk with her?’ Again the small voice whispered, ‘ No ‘
Hoping there was somebody with whom he could leave a message, the Manager asked, ‘Is anybody else there?’
‘ Yes , ‘ whispered the boy, ‘ a policeman . ‘
Wondering what a cop would be doing at his employee’s home, the Manager asked, ‘May I speak with the policeman?’
‘ No, he’s busy , ‘ whispered the boy.
‘Busy doing what?’
‘ Talking to father and mother and the Fireman , ‘ came the whispered answer.
Growing more worried as he heard a loud noise in the background through the earpiece on the phone, the Manager asked, ‘What is that noise?’
‘ A helicopter ‘ answered the whispering voice.
‘What is going on there?’ demanded the Manager, now truly apprehensive. Again, whispering, the boy answered,
‘ The search team just landed a helicopter ‘
Alarmed, concerned and a little frustrated the Manager asked, ‘What are they searching for?’
Still whispering, the young voice replied with a giggle..
‘ ME . ‘
As the manager, poor parents should have phoned him up, to avoid all this mesh
innocent angel
unexpected, but funny ending…!!!
I didn’t think of the boy, but of the father’s manager.He was cutely misled.
Dear All: I believe this is a mock test planned by the very intelligent small boy to see how quickly the response is coming from his Parents, the Police and Fire Distinguisher Department to search him. Reviewing the whole game the boy planned, it is found that the above parents and departments have exhibited their high level responsibilities to search for the small boy, who has intelligently answered the questions of the Manager on Phone. However, the mock test is interesting, which was planned well by the small boy. All credits should go to the small boy. Congratulation to Sara for being providing such an interesting funny-funny joke.
they were serching for the boy, I guest the boy was advanturing, as he has been hiding him self some where whoe he can see others but they cannot see him.
