Changing the battery may not solve the problem because the problem of the second clock could be from the battery. Secondly, the problem of the first clock could be unconnected with battery.

    One which does not work

  3. Shahid Khan October 13, 2013 at 4:38 PM #

The one that does not work is more relaiable regardless if it does not work, the other wone is not reliable at all.

You said :” which one will the right to use” I say you have the right to use either one but neither will give you the right time …

    • roha October 9, 2013 at 11:23 AM #

the first one will be reliable to use without wasting the time

  5. Mohamed Sulaiman September 8, 2013 at 12:01 PM #

Among the two wall clock, 1st one is not working and there is no point in wasting our time on it.
The 2nd one shows only two minutes difference. Hopefully, we can work on it by changing with the new batteries and re-positioning clock to the correct alignment.

The defect of the two are known for sure, but only the first one will be reliable. So, I will pick the wall clock that is not working

  7. Hafzal Ahmed August 28, 2013 at 12:16 PM #

Remove the battery frm the second clock and put it in the first ine. Simple.

Admin ! What is the correct answer?

    • Ali - Admin July 30, 2013 at 2:31 PM #

Its already in the comments 🙂

  10. sanjay May 19, 2013 at 1:40 PM #

the second one, after repairs ,as its not sure whether
the first one is repairable or not

  11. skybeen April 12, 2013 at 9:57 PM #

who knows whether the first one is also in working condition and just the battery problem…….?????

  12. Alireza March 15, 2013 at 11:51 AM #

The first one shows the time twice during a day but the second, never.

  13. Amer AlSharif February 27, 2013 at 1:22 AM #

Both can be chosen. When you buy any wall clocks they are either not working because they need battary, or working with wrong time ( like the said two mnts) then you will simply adjust it. and very rare to buy one with healthy battary and correct time.

  14. majid zaib February 20, 2013 at 4:19 PM #

the first one is right to use

  15. Abdul Kareem February 17, 2013 at 11:55 AM #

Everybody will use the second one, nobody will use the first one.
Using the second one, can adjust time each day by 2 minutes or at least can know the approximate time. The first one, eventhrough it will show the exact time twice a day, that is useless at all.

  16. Zeeshan Jamil February 14, 2013 at 1:07 PM #

Among the above two options means use the right one (leave both n choose another right one). If it were to choose from one of two then the sentence would have been as ” Between two options”.

Dont you give solved riddle? Where is final answer?

  18. Zubair Quadri February 12, 2013 at 11:59 PM #

Stop the watch for 2 minutes which is the losses for 2 minutes , and then start again and use. it will be on the right time.

  19. Dr Aftab Ahmed Kandhro February 12, 2013 at 10:59 PM #

2nd is the best, because it losses 2 minutes each day, after 30 days it will became at same position (means: Adjust/calibrate automatically).
for example A days contains = 24 hours
Clock losses 2 minutes in 24 hours.
same as 60 minutes in 720 hours, which is equal to 30 day, when one complete round finished by minutes needle, then clock losses one hour, now adjust the one hour and clock ready to use without any losses.
May be answer is correct, otherwise the riddle will be solve like this kind of solution.
    Waiting for feedbeck

Take the battery from clock which delay 2 mints &put into the clock which is not working

  21. Moktadir Rahman Shourav February 10, 2013 at 9:47 PM #

First one: It’ll be correct at least twice a day. The second one may take months before it’s on time again.

  22. Ahamed Sadayan February 10, 2013 at 12:08 PM #

I’ll use the first one. You said one doesn’t work. The one doesn’t work is the one which lose 2 minutes every day. So it means the first one is working 🙂

    • Zeeshan Jamil February 14, 2013 at 1:02 PM #

      Good !

  23. Umer February 10, 2013 at 11:50 AM #

I will prefer to use my cell phone for accurate time because i don’t know if the one which is not working will work fine after putting new battery in it or not….probably the machinery of that watch is also out of order and you spend money on buying that creepy watch as well as for the battery….

  24. ode May 18, 2012 at 6:48 PM #

Find out what the problem is with the first one. If it battery, use the battery of the second and replace. If not, use the second one and reset the dial 2 minutes backward every 12 midnight.

  25. Ayman May 12, 2012 at 11:23 PM #

I think its better to use the first one
Its give you the right time twice Am&Pm

    Hhhhh

  26. SIM May 1, 2012 at 10:03 AM #

You said there is one “Right to use among them”, “Not between them”
so i think he can use the Right one

  27. Musa Haladu Darma April 15, 2012 at 9:55 PM #

Talking or reliability neither of the two deserved any attention.

  28. sanat April 14, 2012 at 5:40 PM #

use the one that looses 2 minutes every day as 2 minutes can be rectified and can be predicted even

  29. Rasha April 14, 2012 at 2:22 PM #

    Sara :
    What is the right answer?

  30. omniah April 11, 2012 at 2:41 PM #

He should take batteries from the one which delays two minutes and put it in the one which doesn’t work so it would work then!

    • fatma April 14, 2012 at 2:03 PM #

I think that like you 😉

  31. Gadija April 10, 2012 at 3:26 PM #

fix up the one that doesn’t work and use that one….why bother resetting everytime

  32. Aurangzeb April 9, 2012 at 1:43 PM #

First one is better than second

  33. Ahmed Bello April 9, 2012 at 1:18 PM #

A tme piece or clock is meant to keep accurate time all the time. So, both clocks are less than useful. However, if circumstances are such that they cannot be replaced, the one which loses 2 minutes per 24 hours can be used with minimum inaccuracy. All that needs be done is to reset it twice daily by 1 minute negative, first at midnight and again at 6pm. In between these periods of adjustments, the inaccuracy of time given by the clock will be only a fraction of a minute, which can be tolerated.

  34. Hussain R HJI April 8, 2012 at 9:02 PM #

the one which is hunged on the left side of the other one..

ha sara I am right ?

    • Sara - Admin April 11, 2012 at 11:48 AM #

Nope. You can see the right answers in the other comments.

      • sanat April 14, 2012 at 5:41 PM #

now tell what is the right answer.

  35. arif April 8, 2012 at 4:35 PM #

The first one will give right time twice in 24 hrs.
You can use the second one. Simply adjust the time by – 1o mins on fifth Day.

  36. manal Abdel fattah April 8, 2012 at 2:22 PM #

neither of them, the two are obsolete, the one which loses 2 minutes a day, is unreliable as well, hence we don’t know at which day he adjusted it first

  37. Mahmoud Sheikh Aboud April 8, 2012 at 1:32 PM #

The both of the clocks I have the right to use beacuse the two clocks are mine

  38. m.h. rahman April 8, 2012 at 11:08 AM #

i will use 1st one just to put battery it will start better than the other it will give every day two minutes late.

  39. Baset April 8, 2012 at 12:19 AM #

The one which does not work will tell the right time twice per day.

  40. Hamza April 7, 2012 at 11:30 PM #

Simply put the batteries of second clock in the stop one

  41. Ian April 7, 2012 at 7:05 PM #

May b its tricky but I think I am not that smart to answer this question, cos it is not right to use either of them.

  42. Ahmad Usman April 7, 2012 at 5:35 PM #

I will use the first one because it is reliable the other one is not

  43. A.Q. Makki April 7, 2012 at 4:02 PM #

    * If the man has Mobile, no problem to keep both as wall decor.
    * If he has no mobile, he has to keep the first one and adjust it daily at the same time by by two minutes forward . The second he may keep also as wall decor, and he will loose nothing.
    * I think no need to send a defective wall clock to repair , specially if it is Made In China!Simply by a new one.

  44. Mohammed Sayeed April 7, 2012 at 11:10 AM #

I think of first day using 2nd clock bcz 1st day it will shows right time. 1st day consist of 24 hrs, which will be enough to repair other one….

  45. jaffar April 7, 2012 at 10:21 AM #

Use the best of the two devils: the clock that works but keep in mind its deficiency.

  46. Mital April 7, 2012 at 10:13 AM #

I will sell both the watch & buy new one.

  47. saif April 7, 2012 at 10:10 AM #

i think he should not use both, the best fix up which is stop one.first think your self .

  48. Nasir April 7, 2012 at 10:02 AM #

They are both useless. But for the sake of the argument, I would say he should use the one that doesn’t work. because it will be accurate two times per day as opposed to the one that loses two minutes per day.

  49. Dr. Md. Golam Mostafa April 7, 2012 at 7:20 AM #

I would take two wall clocks to the clock mechanics to fix them up.

  50. Mohd April 7, 2012 at 6:54 AM #

I will select the one doesnot work in order to fix it, while thr other one can’t be fixed.
