There’s this Adnan Ali who was working for a multi-millionaire as a house guard. One day, while the millionaire was driving out to catch an early morning flight to conclude a business deal, Adnan Ali ran out from the guard house and stopped the millionaire’ s car just right in front of the gate.
He said ‘Sir! Sir! Are you going to board a plane?’
‘Yes, why?’ asked the millionaire.
‘You had better cancel the trip. You see, last night I dreamt about the plane going to crash.’
Curious over the early morning fright that Adnan Ali had given, the multi-millionaire decided to cancel his trip.
‘You better be damn right for this is a million dollar deal.’
The following day, there was a news report that the plane which the millionaire was supposed to take had indeed crashed.
‘Thank God, I cancelled the trip’, the rich man said realising that what Adnan Ali had said had come true, he summoned Adnan to see him. When Adnan came that morning, the millionaire gave him his salary and FIRED him.
WHY did he do that?

The boss is mean, he is wicked and an ingrate! Should he not be grateful to almighty Allah for using the guard to save his life? The purpose for which the guard was hired was to protect and save thre life of the live of the boss and he has done more extra ordinarily! Shit! How deep can a man sleep before dreaming? One may just doze and had dream if he is endowed. Which one is better, to save the boss life as the guard did or save his own job and allow the boss to go on the trip and die? Allah will always reward good deeds with good rewards. The boss has done vice-versa and would definitely be punished for his action. All capitalists should know that God is more powerful and full of rewards.

My guess before reading about the reason for the decision was probably the fear of the boss about the power of the watchman, and how he could use it in future for his personal interest.

It is not matter of advice in this story, rather then only find clue on which the boss fired the Guard, which is, guard was sleeping in the duty time. So many gays find that clue.

1. He should fire his guard on the same reason when his guard told him about his dream of the last night without knowing whether the dream is true or false rather after one day when his dream came true.
2. He should change his designation as personal advisor and should provide him an AC room for a better sleep. 🙂

Hi Sara, Hope your are fine,, I agree with Abdulla, the guard supposed to be awaiken at night and not to sleep, but I still find that was a taugh judgement made by the millionarie, he could gived him a sort of final worning instead.
If I was the guard’s boss, I would promoted him to a higher position. I would rather change his job responsibility and allocate him more time to sleep both at day at night to dream for his boss. In his position, I would recruit new experienced guards for my house. After all I am a multi-millionaire and be able to pay the guard. Hah! I am joking.
The guard was hired to guard the house during night but not for sleeping and dreaming.

It was misteke of Guard to sleep in the Duty time. Of course he savedthe life of Boss and he was awarded but Boss did right thing to fired him after he awaerded him.

guards works at different times such as separate morning shifts, evening shifts and night shifts. Night shift guard can sleep in the morning when he is off duty.
I think the the advice should be read as follows:
