A Tricky Question

You have a basket containing 6 Mangoes. You have 6 friends each of whom desire a Mango. You give each of your friends one Mango.

After the distribution each of your friends has a Mango, yet there is an Mango remaining in the basket.

How?

    Last mango left is yours in the basket because you are total six friends including yourself. Last mango is big and fully ripe, you know it why.

    One of the six friends already had a mango. So only 5 were distributed, and therefore, one was left in the basket.

    We are in total 6 friends (incl. me), gave 5 mangoes to 5 friends and the last one left in the bucket was for me.

    Bcoz give each friend 1 mango…1 mango means 1 mango to 6 friend, that means 5 remaining in the basket.

    they are  six friends including the one who is distributing among them,the distributor found a remaining mango in the basket because he had distributed to friends but dint took his own share

    the answer is very simple: what is left is “an Mango” which is different from “a Mango” which means in the basket there was 6 Mangoes and an Mango, the 6 Mangoes were distributed and an Mango was left!!!

    but what is the correct answer – coz one was there in basket (along). I dont think its what some said..man go. (becoz Question is – yet one mango remain in basket.  (man go in basket -no sense

    He write you have six friends that mean that when I distributed one mango to each of my five friends (sixth one is me) then one mango left in the basket for me…

    Great answers by all of you. I would like to thank all those who participated in the Riddle.
    The answer I had in mind was given by our first commentator “Ar Bew”.
    But still there are many other right answers, which were really innovative and fun to read.

    There are six friends, the friend who has distributed mangoes to other friends has to take one for himself. That is why one mango remains in the basket.

    Mangoes in Basket = 6
    Mango in distributor’s hand = 1
    Total Mangoes = 7

    6 Mangoes were in Basket. 1 Mango was on the distributor’s hand. When he started distribution, he gave the first one in hand. Now remaining just 5 friends and 6 Mangoes.

      One friend was given basket along with the mango so it’s still in it…
