As an expatriate I was planning my vacation to India with my family. At the same time one of my friend’s family was coming back from India to renew visa and go back within 2 months. For this short period my friend was searching a family flat.
I agreed to let him stay with his family, in my flat, as I would be on vacation.
But due to some company reasons, I couldn’t go on the said date.
The next day his family was coming. and I was too much worried about my promise.
A matter of Ten days… What should I do?
My wife said we should go to a rented apartment for 10 days, starting from tomorrow and let them stay in our flat to keep up our promise!! Knowing my situation, even my friend refused, but I told him forcefully that he has to stay at my house.
At night I got a call from my boss saying that he wants to send a document to India very urgently. The next second my friend called me to inform that he has found a flat for 10 days. The Guy is going tonight for exactly 10 days vacation.
Thank God…! I replied. Suddenly I remembered about my Boss call. When I checked with my friend…. we found that the Guy is going to the same village that my boss wants to send the document.
Oh..My..God…! I sent the document with this guy at the same night. My friend stayed 10 days in his flat. After 10 days that Guy came back.
When the guy came back, I was flying to India. My friend was on the way to my flat….It is an exact true story happened in my life.
Moral: If you break your promise, you will lose Trust, Friendship and God’s support. So keep up your promise, whatever situation it may be and in the end it will be for your benefit.

Promise is a debt.
Thanks FFJ team.
The way things fit together in Nature, it would not be out of place to say that there is a divine arrangement in the Cosmos that never goes wrong, like the sun the moon amd the tides in the sea.And people with strong faith and sincerity of purpose do become part of that mystery and witness events difficult to explain by comon reasoning.
Rightly said Sonah.
Fortune favours the well-intentioned, and honest person; those who go the extra mile to honour his promise..
Knowing all these, Allah asked us to say, INSHA ALLAH before give a promise to any one. The word Insha Allah will protect you from the sin of deviating from your word. Every thing is in the hands of Allah.
There is no limit of anything whether good or bad…
Well Done.

This did not necesarily happen to me, rather to my friend.
We live in the West, and we are a minority in the school(girls who wear the hijab).
My friend, let’s call her Summer, was late to English class 2 weeks ago and we were woking on a study novel.
She comes to class at 9:15 am and class starts at 8:30 am
I see her and wonder why she is late, and as I ask her she gets ready to tell me. This is her story
She is at home with her sister and mother. Her mother goes to work and her sister leaves the house at 8:45, telling Summer that the house keys are on top of the fridge.Summer was studying for her bio test and then decides that she should go to ENglish class to get some work done.
She gets ready and goes to the fridge to get the keys to lock the door, but they are not there. SHe freaks out and walks in the hallway of her home saying: Oh yallah Allah, where can I find an extra set of keys? Where oh Allah! My LORD! Help me!
Summer check her bag even though she cleaned it the night before and found a spare key DESPITE THE FACT SHE CLEANED IT ALL THE NIGHT BEFORE AND DID NOT HAVE A KEY IN THEREA Christian friend of mine was very touched by what Summer had said because she knew the power that faithful person has, despite our differences in religions. This is my story of a friend who’s faith was so great and believed that just asking for help would at least get her somewhere.
