Who sent the Tickets

A young couple got married and went on vacation to a neighbouring country.

After 2 weeks they came back and finally put away all of the presents they received from friends and family.

Since the home was new, the process took some time.

The silver went into the closet, items were put on the walls for display and some of the more intimate apparel was put in the bedroom drawers.

A week later, they received in the mail two tickets for a very expensive entertainment park.

They were very excited and warmed by the gesture of the person who sent this. Inside the envelope, however, was only a small piece of paper with a single line: “Guess who sent them.”

The pair had much fun trying to identify the donor, but failed in the effort.

They went to the entertainment park, and had a wonderful time.

On their return home late at night, still trying to guess the identity of the unknown host, they found the house stripped of every article of value.

And on the bare table in the dining-room was a piece of paper on which was written in the same hand as the enclosure with the tickets: “Now you know!”

MoralDon’t take things for granted without knowing. Nothing in life is for free.

There is no logic in this story. If they went on vacation for two weeks why the theif did not visit their house while they were out on vacation. He could have avoided buying the expensive tickets.

Moral for today’s story could be :
Never accept gift from Unknown People

  35. Stephen September 11, 2011 at 7:48 AM #

The couple paid a hefty penalty for thier foolishness. What they spent for thier 2 weeks of holiday & just for a couple of hours at the entertainment park (free), they surrendered everything to the invisible & got destroyed financially & now to overcome all of this misery will take months, but the lesson & nagging will be labelled with them for eternity.
Nothing comes free & due to this economic crisis, none have anything to give, except kindness, but that is rare, so be aware & be alert. God Bless all.

before accepting a vacation you have to know who sent it and why, nowadays nobody give things free.
