I had been doing Tech Support for Canon Printers for about a month when I had a customer call with a problem I just couldn’t solve. She could not print yellow. All the other colors would print fine, which truly baffled me because the only true colors are cyan, magenta, and yellow. For instance, green is a combination of cyan and yellow, but green printed fine.

Every color of the rainbow printed fine except for yellow. I had the customer change ink cartridges. I had the customer delete and re-install the drivers. Nothing worked. I asked my co-workers for help; they offered no new ideas.

After over two hours of troubleshooting, I was about to tell the customer to send the printer in to us for repair when she asked quietly,

“Should I try printing on a piece of white paper instead of this “yellow” construction paper?”

    Ha ha ha! She really put dis Tech man tru trouble. I believe the yellow paper was not used in test printing so he least expected that was d problem. This cud happen 2 a man or a woman. Bottom line is – experience is d best teacher, he has added 2 his knowledge so he wud ensure it NEVER happens again.

    Oh what kind of customer is thatn who thinks yellow color can be printed on yellow, that might mk ppl think he or she I’d dole. I think he/she shud pay the seller of cotrges some disturbing fees for mking him heat up his head for a little stupidity of the customer.

    this joke doesn’t reveal that women are “stupid” on the contrary. If the tech, had any intelligence he would have realized in an instant that the paper was yellow. I think that 2 morons were inevitably doomed to meet. As the saying goes:
