One day Sara and Farah were walking on the shore of river Nile in Egypt
when they noticed a pole stuck in the middle of the river.
They went up to a house nearby and enquired about that pole.
The resident of the house told them that the pole was one-half in the
ground. The other one-third of it was covered by water, and the
remaining part of the pole is above the water which is about 11 feet.

What is the total length of the pole in feet ?

    the remaining length is 1/6 of the pole
    the whole length is 6 * 11 feet = 66 feet

    Let suppose total length = x
    x/2 + x/3 +11 = x
    3x + 2x + 66 = 6x
    x=66
    total length(x) = 66 feet
