The wise old saint instructed the sad young man to put a fistful of salt in a glass of water and then drink it. The sad young man did as the Saint instructed. “How does it taste?” the Saint asked. “Not good. I can taste too much salt” Said the man.
The Saint then asked the man to take another fistful of salt and then go out with him. The Saint took the man
to the nearby pond and instructed him to swirl his fistful of salt into the pond. The young man did as instructed, the Saint then ordered, “Now drink from the pond.”
As the young man drank from the pond, the Saint asked, “How does it taste?” “Good!” remarked the young man. “Do you taste the salt this time?” asked the Saint. “Not at all” said the young man.
Moral of the Story
The Saint told the young man, “The pain of life is just like the salt. The amount of pain in life remains the same, you will be hurt one way or the other, if one problem ends another might come up, but the amount we taste the pain depends on the container we put it into. So when you are in pain, the only thing you can do is to broaden your sense of things.
Stop being a glass, become a pond and then see the difference !
Have a great day !
I dont think this is a good one.

God bless you Sara for your good deeds for the sake of huminity. Keep up the good work. Everyday we are enthused with your updates – be these jokes or moral stories.
Another moral of the story is: it is the sharing that mitigates or lowers its intensity. A fistful of salt diluted in just one glass of water made it unbearable but when it is shared by bigger recipient – the pond- its intencity got reduced.. So if we share each other’s pain, the pain won’t be felt.
The real way out from the pains of the world is to broaden our sense and access the creator ”Who has the remedy of all troubles ” and cure for all illnesses.Purpose of creation is also same. However, dear Sara ,thanks for providing us all soothing advises.Allah Almighty may bless you and all of us. Aameen.
Very wise advice …!!! Thank you sana x
