What a foolish, indeed disgusting, way to celebrate the birth of a baby! Such a brazenly decadent approach to celebrating the advent of a new life not only cheapens human life itself, but is also a bad reflection on the kind of materialism and/or consumerism that has invaded and “colonized” the oil-rich (but culture-poor) Gulf states. It only goes to show the total lack of self-respect that some foolish parents demonstrate in their attempt to “impress” others with this kind of materialistic vulgarity. What a shame! A bundle of joy is being suffocated by a heap of dirty money.
