When I first watched this video, I prayed and hoped that it wasn’t true. I downloaded the video and once in a while I come across it and I kept hoping that it was just a way of reminding us of our obligations to our parents. I had always wanted to know, was it based on true happenings? I hope it wasn’t, because the pain of that child can only best be imagined.
It sends a very sublime and important message to every child of his/her obligations towards their parents. Better to heed this now and correct any misgivings you may have had towards your parents if they are still alive, and if they are no more, you must continue to ask for Allaah’s Rahma for them.
It’s sad how human beings not appreciate things they already have and then later regret when they lose it.
