The Age Calculator!

This is an expert!

Your shoes can tell you your age…..try this and see :

 1. Take your shoe size.

 2. Multiply it by 5.

 3. Add 50.

 4. Multiply by 20 …

 5. Add 1012.

 6. Subtract the year you were born…

The first digit is your shoe size, while the last 2 digits are your age.

Whoever goes ahead to do the calculation like I did is a fool. Who doesn’t know when he or she was born..
Thanks Sarah for making a fool of myself.

    simply Amazing!

  4. Mohammad Mansour February 17, 2013 at 12:48 PM #

    Mathematically justified
    But Nice for Fun !

  5. SHAHID BASHIR February 7, 2013 at 2:40 PM #

    Well SARA,

any how we can perform such calculation but this calculation we are totally blank of result.

Could you or anyone put the finest trick to get known the others age??
    by using maths only!!!

    • SHAHID BASHIR February 7, 2013 at 2:42 PM #

i mean the person who ask for calculations is only don’t know the answer.

    • Mohammed December 31, 2012 at 11:38 AM #

It’s not necessary to take the shoe size, if you take any number between 1 – 9, then calculate as mentioned. Result, the last two digits is your age.

  7. mj abba September 12, 2012 at 7:49 PM #

indeed a long process of calculation, but why is it necessar to make addition of 2012

  8. salah September 3, 2012 at 7:36 PM #

What if this year is 2013 or another year other than 2012 , this will not work, you will need to add 1013 instead of 1012,

  9. Aurangzeb Qureshi August 28, 2012 at 1:23 PM #

If you enter the date of birth then you don’t need of so complex calculations Simply sutract the date of birth from the current year.

  10. Shameemkalpana August 27, 2012 at 12:58 PM #

I got a better way than this. take the present year and subtract the year you born. the answer will be your age.. 🙂
you tried to fool us. but you couldn’t

    • Sara - Admin August 27, 2012 at 4:06 PM #

      You are genius Shameem. 🙂

  11. Lala August 24, 2012 at 1:36 PM #

When we tell both the things for example the age (when you subtract by the year you were born in) and the shoe size, if it were that we only gave the shoe size and not our date of birth then it would have been better and more legit.

  12. aslam August 23, 2012 at 11:18 PM #

    Here is the theory

    x – shoe size
    yyyy – date of birth

    ((((X * 5) + 50) * 20 ) + 1012) – yyyy
    =100x + 1000 + 1012 -yyyy
    = 100x + 2012-yyyy
    =x * 10^2 + age
    = x pq

if the age is morre than 100 , it will notwork !!!!!!!

    corrrect! but kindly ambiguous
    Size: 8
but i was 27 in the beginning of the year and 28 after my date of Birth.. as Mark off on the Calendar.

  14. Wasim August 23, 2012 at 3:34 PM #

take it as a fun instead of thinking negative.

  15. Shafi August 23, 2012 at 12:37 PM #

Its Very Simple; if u you subtract born year with current year then it will show your age e.g. 1990-2012=22 😉

  16. anish August 23, 2012 at 6:19 AM #

    VERY BORE………………..

    • sk ashif August 23, 2012 at 12:12 PM #

Actually, Sara does not know your date of birth, you know, you calculate and you get the result.
The most problematic part of Sara’s materials are that they aren’t unique!Either these are copied from somewhere or at least, the concept is not new which can result in copyright problems but that is not a big problem.I like Sara’s jokes very much and hope to enjoy in future.

Yes, there is an urgent need to improve the commenting section.

it is very nice i like it………………..

  19. sharif123 August 22, 2012 at 7:54 PM #

    Dear friends
Please don’t treat it as serious maths. Yes, it is an algebric identity, so answer is obvious. Can’t we take it as fun game? Have you noticed the moderator never failed in sending us the jokes/morals/riddle regularly? Let’s encourage her instead of criticizing her, although healthy critcism is good for quality improvement.

    • sk ashif August 22, 2012 at 8:32 PM #

No, it ain’t serious math! But is not learning fan?even if it’s serious math!

      • sk ashif August 22, 2012 at 11:25 PM #

Sorry misspelled fun and instead wrote fan, I apologize for this unintentional mistake.

      • Salahudheen September 20, 2012 at 2:14 PM #

        sk ashif,
‘No, it ain’t serious math! But is not learning fan?even if it’s serious math!”
Is this a riddle you want us to guess the meaning?
those who understand the meaning of the above sentence, please raise your hand. I guess he is tryin to fool us.

  20. Susu August 22, 2012 at 7:13 PM #

  21. sk ashif August 22, 2012 at 6:59 PM #

    To Sara,
your comment writing interface is not good, try to improve it and try to make it more gmail like!

  22. Aida August 22, 2012 at 6:23 PM #

Nothing new we not need all this mess because the end ask what the year you born and first ask shoe size stop stupidity

    • sk ashif August 22, 2012 at 6:58 PM #

yes, I agree with you but don’t call it stupidity! The only problem is that it makes a big claim when it actually does nothing.
      To Sara,
I am a great fan of your jokes and puzzles but not necessarily your maths!
And yes, I am very happy that what you are doing is good for the muslim community but you need more intellectual maths so that we enjoy this to engage in a colorful math learning.

  23. Al-Ameen August 22, 2012 at 3:45 PM #

    Nayyyy, didnt work

  24. sk ashif August 22, 2012 at 2:31 PM #

It is simple math algorithm!the last two digits will always come 12(remember the current year 2012!), so when you subtract the year you are born, this results in your age. Thanks for trying to fool us!

    • Benghazino August 22, 2012 at 5:19 PM #

      To sk Asif
Why are you so negatively minded? Nobody is trying to fool you!! This whole thing is meant to be a nice trick using some numbers to achieve someone’s age and shoe size.
If our lord Allah has given you the ability to see this trick easily (whereas lots of people can’t) You ought to be thankful for that instead of behaving in such an arrogant manner.

      • sk ashif August 22, 2012 at 6:50 PM #

You are welcome to comment but not to call me arrogant!
The way the language is used in this trick has a chunky claim when it does not do anything impressive. It is like asking you all the informations and exactly manipulate those to amaze you.
        Sorry…………but I am not impressed….

    • madooo12 August 23, 2012 at 4:31 AM #

      how did she fool you?

      • sk ashif August 23, 2012 at 9:17 AM #

        She didn’t but she tried!

  25. Qutubudeen August 22, 2012 at 1:53 PM #

  26. M.M Bello August 22, 2012 at 1:50 PM #
