Once there was a group of young boys who arranged a tree climbing competition. The goal was to reach the top of a very high tree. A big crowd had gathered around the tree to see the race and cheer on the contestants.
The race began…
Honestly, no-one in crowd really believed that the boys would reach the top of the tree. You heard statements such as:
“Oh, WAY too difficult!!”
“They will NEVER make it to the top”.
“Not a chance that they will succeed. The tree is too high!”
The boys began collapsing. One by one…
… Except for those who in a fresh tempo were climbing higher and higher.
The crowd continued to yell
“It is too difficult!!! No one will make it!”
Most of the boys got tired and gave up…
…But ONE continued higher and higher and higher…
This one wouldn’t give up!
At the end, everyone else had given up climbing the tree. Except for the one boy who, after a big effort, was the only one who reached the top!
THEN all of the other boys naturally wanted to know how this one boys managed to do it?
A contestant asked the boys how the one who succeeded had found the strength to reach the goal?
It turned out…
That the winner was deaf.
Dear Readers, please suggest a beautiful moral to this story!
Agree. If you are deaf to others criticism and comments you really can reach high.
Why is it your business what others think (of you)
we have wromg impression about others. we pity some but they cry 4 us. we cant simply uunderstand others without being in there shoe
NO PAIN NO GAIN.
For this, never listen to those who discourage motivation .. Their harm but on you, and they do not earn anything!
Never Put on your ears on rumors and gossips in the way of your target / destination .
If you really want to accomplish something, you can always choose to become deaf, especially when the people around us say negative or discouraging things.
I think you’ve just captured the answer perfectly
never listen to bypassers’ comments when you are trying to reach the top.
Above all, the boy only realized that the organizers of that event will not introduce this competition if it is not practical.
He may have lost his hearing sense, but he has not lost the thinking power and courage than others. Thats why he logically approached and used his talent to reach the top.
fantastical `~`
Don’t bother about those negative statements when you are determined to reach your goal.
It was the intrinsic motivation which helped him to reach the goal.
so focused, that the sound effect couldn’t affect his concentration to reach his goal, as a gift from God to be deaf
Disregard the unnecessary disheartening comments and critiscism to attain true success.
Become a deaf man to achieve your desired goals,
When you set up a positive goal to achieve for yourself,do not be discourage by what People say about you or about your struggle, strive hard to achieve your goal.
Positive expectations attract positive results; negative expectations negative results!
Because there are always positive as well as negative expectations, try to turn the deaf ear to any negativity and keep focused. Listen to your heart and ambition!
instead of putting the eye liner, they took off the eye from its place.
Don’t give ear to discouraging voices and calls. Be of strong will and of strong noble goals that you strive to achieve with no despair and with strong faith that God help you.
Do not listen who make you dishearted.
Moral: Don’t let negativity get you down, Keep your focus, and don’t give.
Always keep the Aim/Target in front and never leave efforts half way or never get discouraged by the negative remarks of the unconcerned people in achieving your Aim. .
When determined, get focussed and do not listen to detractors.
When you have a target , try to acheive it and do not listen to the others !
Many mouths, many faiths.
When you will rise or try to go up.. Whole world will try to de-motivate you and try to pull you down. So never listen to them. Always keep moving, keep rising.
If you listen to them, then you will never rise. Because you will also feel that you can’t do that work. So always keep faith in yourself and achieve the success.
So, just be like that deaf boy, who succeeded.
Many a times those who fail to try will put us off.
