The Smart Boy – Great Riddle

A smart boy was walking through the jungle. He comes across a river. To cross the river he has to walk over the bridge. But there is a huge man in front of the bridge carrying an axe.

The man says, “If you want to cross this bridge, you must tell me a statement. If I think the statement is true, you will be strangled to death. If I say the statement is false, your head will be chopped off.”

A few minutes later, the smart boy walked over the bridge, while the huge man stood dumbfounded.

What statement did the smart boy say?

if he says true than the man will chop his headand if he says wrong the axe man will chop his head off so he will say” you will chop my head” because if its true than his head will not be chopped and automatically it is proven wrong so the boy had neither said a truth and nor a false
