Amazing story of Lizard – Moral Story

In order to renovate the house, a man in Japan breaks open the wall.

Japanese houses normally have a hollow space between the wooden walls.

When tearing down the walls, he found that there was a lizard stuck there because a nail from outside hammered into one of its feet.

He sees this, feels pity, and at the same time curious, as when he checked the nail, it was nailed 1 year ago when the house was first built.

What happened?

The lizard has survived in such position for 1 year!!!!!!!!!

In a dark wall partition for 1 year without moving, it is impossible and mind-boggling.

Then he wondered how this lizard survived for 1 year!!! Without moving a single step–since its foot was nailed!

So he stopped his work and observed the lizard, what it has been doing, and what and how it has been eating.

Later, not knowing from where it came appears another lizard, with food in its mouth.

Ah! He was stunned and touched deeply. For the lizard, that was stuck by nail, another lizard has been feeding it for the past 1 years…

Imagine? it has been doing that untiringly for 1 long year without giving up hope on its partner.

Think, will you do that to your spouse?

Think that will you do it to your Mom,who brought you after a big struggle of nine long months?

Or at least to your Dad, Friends, Co-workers, brothers and Sisters?

Imagine what a small creature can do that a creature blessed with a brilliant mind can’t.

Humans are the only species killing each other for food, influence and silly things which animals do not do.

There are animals which eat their young one’s there are spiders, women spiders, which eat the male one with which it mates.
There are different types of animals, and men, and nothing in nature is predictable, so, nothing can be philosophised.

Thanks Sara, that was a nice one..

it was saied that there was a bird sitting on the branch of a tree and watching an aunt who was straggling on the side of the river to get it self out from there, so the bird as she found the difficulty of the aunts situation she cared to throw a peace of leave down to the aunt where the aunt eventualy made its way out.

later on a hunter appeared with a long shot gun in his hand and targeted the bird, as the aunt was close to the seen he harried and reached it self to the hunter’s feet and exactly on rite time he bite the hunter’s feet who was ready to shoot the bird.

The hunter missed his target and the birds life was saved by the aunts favor in return..

Touching story. But not true. A house lizard lives for about 4 years. If he does push ups & yoga regularly, then 6 years. 🙂 But ten years? Nay……..

    • Mumtaz Talukdar July 25, 2011 at 10:00 PM #

I agree, but the thing is to understand the moral of the story!

      • Vimalraju July 26, 2011 at 12:28 PM #

Yes true. I confess that it did touch a cord deep inside.

The story is very touchy, moral lesson and add a value to respect our kith & kin, but in reality it may not be  possible due to the following reasons.

    1) A nail in the feet for 10 year poisned the whole body with worst concequences which may lead to death within a short period.

On top of this, it is the creator the Almighty God if he wants to let the lizard alive eternal it is easy for him.

    GOD IS GREAT.
