Greatest Gifts of Life – Story

A group of students were asked to list what they thought were the present “Seven Wonders of the World.”
Though there were some disagreements, the following received the most votes:
1. Egypt’s Great Pyramids
2. Taj Mahal
3. Grand Canyon
4. Panama Canal
5. Empire State Building
6. St. Peter’s Basilica
7. China’s Great Wall
While gathering the votes, the teacher noted that one student had not finished her paper yet. So she asked the girl if she was having
trouble with her list.
The girl replied, “Yes, a little. I couldn’t quite make up my mind because there were so many.”
The teacher said, “Well, tell us what you have, and maybe we can help.”
The girl hesitated, then read, “I think the ‘Seven Wonders of the World’ are:”

1. to see
2. to hear
3. to touch
4. to taste
5. to feel
6. to laugh
7. and to love.”
The room was so quiet you could have heard a pin drop.
The things we overlook as simple and ordinary and that we take for granted are truly wondrous!
A gentle reminder — that the most precious things in life cannot be built by hand or or brought by man.

we often forget to think about the small things which been already gifted by god.we usually get attracted by artificial things which we cannot hold till last..how poor we are at realizing it.thanks allah for blessing us with that sweet list which is written by little girl.

I applaud the little girl for her wisdom and I thank God not only for those wonderful gifts but also for using the girl and this medium to remind us that what we historically regard as the wonders of this world were only made possible by the wisdom of the Almighty God.

And why give Allah the glory due to God for the gifts of God to his children? I believe that God is not the same as Allah and Allah is not another word for God. Ok, you are Fathima. Thank God you do not think and talk like the one who calls herself “fateema”. The one who wants part of God’s creation to be wiped off the surface of one part of Africa.

This is an excellent reminder that the most important 7 wonders of the world cannot be brought on by hand nor by man, nor by two men, nor by two women, nor abortion. Only by God’s creation and natural reproduction with the love of man and woman together.

The most precious wonder of Allah to man kind is the Quran.

    • S rahman April 28, 2013 at 4:50 PM #

Quran is a path of life for every human kind

The wonders of the world are symbols, heritage of a rich past, of which we are all beneficiaries.
The wonders listed out by the young girl are vital elements made possible only by the hands of God, as a divine Gift to Man, which have contributed in the creation of these wonders.
The purpose of the little girl is no doubt to remind us that more wonders are possible if we become conscious of the wonders lying within us.

The girl is a great thinker! She has been able to direct our thought away
From what we had believe and taken as the seven wonders of the world and which some of us spent money to go and see, to the things that are with us but which we have not really pondered about. My regards to the girl’s intelligent! Cheers.

number 8 isb to remember this wounderful answer and to thank the great GOD for it alhamdo LELLAH

  17. Dr. Md. Golam Mostafa May 12, 2012 at 7:47 PM #

The first seven wonders were created and developed by human being. The second seven wonders that the lovely girl listed are inbuilt to human being created by Allaah Subhanahu Wa-Ta’ala. The five are the sense organs that are responsible for seeing (Sight), hearing, tasting, feeling and/or toughing and smelling. Senses are physiological capacities of human being that provide data for perception. The nervous system has a specific sensory system or organ, dedicated to each sense. Whether the girl has understood the question or not is not the issue, the issue is the list of wonders she had provided along with lough and love should be praise worthy. Please remember, we are in the funny funny jokes world and let us take all these jokes and morals sportingly.
