Questions
1. A murderer is condemned to death. He has to choose between three rooms. The first is full of raging fires, the second is full of assassins with loaded guns, and the third is full of lions that haven’t eaten in 3 years. Which room is safest for him?
2. A woman shoots her husband. Then she holds him under water for over 5 minutes. Finally, she hangs him. But 5 minutes later they both go out together and enjoy a wonderful dinner together. How can this be?
3. What is black when you buy it, red when you use it, and grey when you throw it away ?
4. Can you name three consecutive days without using the words Wednesday, Friday, or Sunday?
5. This is an unusual paragraph. I’m curious as to just how quickly you can find out what is so unusual about it. It looks so ordinary and plain that you would think nothing was wrong with it. In fact, nothing is wrong with it! It is highly unusual though. Study it and think about it, but you still may not find anything odd. But if you work at it a bit, you might find out. Try to do so without any coaching!
Answers
1. The third room. Lions that haven’t eaten in three years are dead…That one was easy, right?
2. The woman was a photographer. She shot a picture of her husband, developed it, and hung it up to dry (shot; held under water; and hung).
3. Charcoal, as it is used in barbecuing.
4. Sure you can name three consecutive days, yesterday, today, and tomorrow!
5.. The letter e, which is the most common letter used in the English language, does not appear even once in the paragraph.
For the first riddle, the second room with assassins with loaded guns, wouldn’t of they already killed each other? I mean they are assassins.
Interesting!
😀 😀
will someone plz tell us d answer ?
THE RIDDLES WERE PIECES OF CAKE!! DAMN EASY!!!
Seems you are very intelligent 🙂
Isse ghatiya riddle maine jindagi men nahin dekha hai…
First 4 are okay but 5th one is worst.
Even letters V,X,Z are not there in the paragraph.
I do not believe that this should be used to test ones level of intelligence, for it simply relies on one’s knowledge of the subjects in question, what does test you’re knowledge base Thoroughly though would be you’re ability to make connections based on information acquired previously in life…just saying….
True story
Nice one
your observation is a fallacious of colors verse. charcoals can’t be viewed in red if you look that last time it was an orange, but i’ll guess again. `~`
The fifth one amazed me..
these riddles are sooooo smart! i got almost all of them right! the last one was a toughy though
i always stumble upon the first one and never get it right..
as for the rest…quite interesting: today, tomorrow and yestrday was nice!!
thx =D
Ah I couldn’t answer 3rd and 5th….
Very nice…. Thanx for sharing….
Sorry, I was not smart enough to solve.
very nice, intelligent.
It’s true …. the 5th question was most unusal .
Lovely
Thanks Sara
The second one was ridiculous. In the question, you used “him” and in answer it was the “thing” not person. “him” used for person not “thing”. the word “it” you should have used in question instead of “him”.
thumbs up

In english, even to refer a thing to a person we use the pronouns for the first person. Like if we are reading Sherlock Holmes Mysteries, we would i have read sherlock holmes already ..the other one might say i have read him more than 3 times….. likewise, if you are clicking his picture, we can also say i have clicked him so shooting his picture or shooting him is oneand the same. Hope this clarifies…
